THE BOY COMES HOME

by A. A. Milne

Announcing June's Pizza Reading: A. A. Milne's one-act play, THE BOY COMES HOME! The reading is scheduled for Wednesday, June 15th at 6pm Eastern.

From the creator of Winnie-the-Pooh, THE BOY COMES HOME is a witty critique of ageism and the insanity of war. When Philip returns home after four years of fighting in the Great War, with a forced maturity that belies his years, his guardian, Uncle James, has beliefs that predate the horrors of the Somme. And, more importantly, his jam company needs fresh initiative.

With incendiary social commentary, A. A. Milne brings the bite-size wisdom of the Hundred Acre Wood this comedic one-act. Don't miss this short and sweet Pizza Reading... it's a pizza bite!

Usual Pizza Reading rules: all participants must read a small part. Please RSVP by Monday, June 13th. I will send along the script, roles, and Zoom details on Tuesday. And if you'd prefer to read from a hardcopy, you can likely find one in your local library.
